To have a successful fund raiser, you should solicit Prizes from businesses or individuals. The bigger the prizes the better response you will get.
If you cannot get items donated then you will need to purchase them.
Throughout your marketing campaign for the event, let your guests know that there will be prizes to be won and how they can win them.
It is also a good idea to display the prizes in a viewing area.

Businesses or vendors should donate items for a Silent Auction. Minimum bids should start at the actual retail value. If your fund raising group purchases items, the bid should be adjusted accordingly.
